The Artist’s Story

Josua has always loved art, but it was during school that he developed a particular fascination with architecture. Inspired by modern figures like Richard Rogers as well as the distinctive style of Antoni Gaudí, he began experimenting with drawing buildings and cityscapes using fine-line pens.

At 16, during lockdown, he began drawing with increasing detail, mostly relying on a 0.03 pen. London became his first subject, a city he had been inspired by growing up, and gradually his sketches developed into a small collection that he began sharing online. As his social media presence grew, Josua launched his prints business, alongside occasional commissions.

In 2021, Josua moved to London to study BSc Management at the London School of Economics. While studies and professional commitments limited the time available for drawing, architecture and sketching have remained a continuing passion. Now, he has began his first corporate role in Canary Wharf, one of the skylines he first drew.

Today, Josua enjoys live sketching, running his prints business, and taking on selected commissions (capacity dependent). He is also open to collaborations in London and internationally with others who share an interest in architecture and the arts.
