The Story

This drawing is part of Josua’s London series, and it captures the towering presence of Canary Wharf from above, a place that represents ambition, momentum, and opportunity. Iconic landmarks including One Canada Square, HSBC Tower, and the Citigroup Centre rise above the docks, symbols of London’s global financial power.

Drawn at A3 scale, the piece became one of Josua’s most ambitious early works. At the time, it was simply a fascination with scale and precision. Yet years later, the drawing took on new meaning when Josua landed his first full-time role in the heart of Canary Wharf, walking daily among the very skyscrapers he had once studied line by line.
