The Story

This drawing is part of Josua’s London series, created soon after his first experiments with fineliner art. While City of London celebrated the capital’s architecture, Piccadilly shifts the focus to the people who bring the city alive.

Crowds spill across the square, buses move through the streets, and every figure adds to a snapshot of London’s rhythm. For Josua, it is the characters that make the city so special — from the hurried commuter to the visitor pausing beneath the lights. The piece is both a study of place and a tribute to the collective energy that defines London.
